As Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s administration approaches its two-year mark in Enugu State, the state chapter of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has announced plans to release a detailed performance scorecard assessing the government’s mid-term achievements.
The disclosure was made on Wednesday in a statement signed by the Enugu State IPAC Chairman, Hon. Obioma Nnamani.
According to the statement, the initiative is aimed at providing an independent and objective appraisal of the Mbah-led administration, with a focus on measuring its impact across key sectors including infrastructure, education, healthcare, economic development, and security.
To actualize this, IPAC said it has constituted a Special Committee saddled with the responsibility of managing its engagement with the state government and ensuring the sustenance of democratic principles and good governance.
“The committee will carry out an on-the-spot evaluation of the administration’s efforts across various sectors. The goal is to highlight both commendable achievements and areas requiring urgent attention,” the statement noted.
IPAC further called on the general public, civil society organizations, the media, and all relevant stakeholders to look forward to the release of the scorecard, which it described as a vital tool for civic engagement and democratic accountability.
The scorecard is expected to be released ahead of the second anniversary of Governor Mbah’s administration.
